Can anyone confirm that this system is off the air?

State of Georgia, Public Safety Trunking System, Atlanta, Georgia - Scanner Frequencies

I assume that GA State Patrol, Capital PD and Ops, Georgia State University Ops, and GWCC are all now using the Atlanta P25 system instead of this system, and that GWCC still uses an LTR system for operations?

Georgia Tech operates on its conventional frequency(s)?

If this system is in fact off the air, can a db admin deprecate this system?

Thanks

Brian

2E2F in ATL is long gone. GTPD uses an 800 conventional repeater with ADP encryption, and also has APD in their portables for interoperability.

You are correct, all former state operations migrated over to the ATL DTRS (and actually the former analog system) about 10 years ago. GWCC still uses LTR but APD also uses their DTRS for events there. I have heard the GWCC system will be replaced with either NexEDGE or MotoTRBO in the near future.
