It has been on for 3 days now and they probably don't care since it is just paging.
Genesee has been a nuisance on my feed since it is CSQ and Chemung County is co-channel P25. I have a Yagi aimed at Genesee, somewhat to the detriment of my reception of the other counties, to null the signal from Chemung. But, with strong ducting, P25 still breaks the squelch and I have to lock out Genesee until it quiets down. Also, since they are CSQ, they are running their deviation very high so their audio level is way higher that the other counties. I have to run my feed audio with them on the verge of distortion to get reasonable audio levels on the others.
I am not sure how long the carrier has been on there. It is full quieting so I didn't notice anything on the feed until I realized I was not hearing the other counties and found the scan was stuck on Genesee. Then I thought it was local interference until I checked with my service monitor and could see it was exactly on frequency and I could detect the beat from the simul transmitters. Finally I heard them paging on it that confirmed who it was.
This may be the last straw for me and I may drop Genesee from my feed permanently.
