getting the feed started

ok , new at this , i believe that i've done everything i can just not sure how or what i need to do broadcast on the site. i've plugged in the jack from my scanner to the back of computer tower and hearing it thru there , just having a little difficulty getting this going. what is my next step? thanks , dave

You'll need to download and install oddcast, which is free. It is provided to you on your feed owner's page. Once its downloaded and installed, open it and select your audio source (MIC or LINE IN) and make sure the check box auto connect on checked. Then click Start or broadcast and you should be all set to go. Then all you have to do is even out your audio to a nice sounding level. Hope this helps!
