Tracker! We are not communicating. Try to use the same terminology used by the EZScan Software, and/or on the face of the radio, and/or on the LED screen of the radio. This way we can actually tell what you are doing.

Let’s start with a little housekeeping, inspection, and maintenance.
EZScan Software ---- Files (high left) ---- Open V-Scanner Folder:
Ah, there are the mysterious Virtual Scanners, lol.
In my own Configuration, I have changed the Description of that CDAT Folder to “Fresh Pallette (original) (default)”, and the Folder has no data added. I have 2 more Folders named and described as:
CDAT_VS.001 PHOENIX FD/RESCUE 2011 (OLDER)
CDAT_VS.002 PHOENIX FD/RESCUE 2011 (LATEST)
My .002 above is my current working VS and goes back and forth between the radio and the program. I think of the other two as “dated” backups. They have bailed me out a few times as I fumbled my way through the fields of experimentation.
I would recommend the following housekeeping: Select ###0 (to insure you are in the CDAT Folder. Now, use the
EZScan Software ----- Files (high left) ----- Copy current data to V- Scanner Folder
Select the first “Empty” Folder (probably ###5). Then you need to
EZScan Software ---- Files (high left) ---- Open V-Scanner Folder-----
SELECT ###5 (or different depending on the above described activity). You should see the same data as you saw the last time you left the program after editing. This is also the same as the data in your CDAT Folder. At this time you may
EZScan Software ---- Files (high left) ---- Set V-Scanner Description---
Enter the new Description of your choice in the box provided----OK (when finished).

There are 202 ScanLists built into the software. The default names are:
Scanlist 001, Scanlist 002, ...........Scanlist 199, Scanlist 200, Scanlist SkyWarn, and the most elusive "Unassigned Objects" They can be renamed, and they can be "filled" or "emptied", but (as far as I know) they can not be deleted.

I would assume you have created/kept "back-up" VScanner Folders just for situation/problem you are describing?

Really simple to move objects in a VSanner to any of the 200 Scanlists. Just change the numbers in the right column (header = Scanlists).

Think of these Scanlists as empty chairs around a giant poker table. Each frequency/channel/TG/TRS/etc. is a card in the deck. You deal the cards in the column (vertical row) headed by the title "Scanlists". This is the column on the right when you select one of the tabs Scanlists, Conventional Frequencies, or Trunked Radio Systems (followed by Talkgroup Details).
Highlight one or more "lines" (just like when you were going to "delete". Then Left Click in the blue highlighted area in the right column under Scanlists. You should get a new popup window that allows you to select the scanlist/s that you want the highlighted "lines" to be in.
201 obvious choices/options (just make the little squares dark) and one choice not so obvious. If you leave all the little squares "not dark", the contents of the highlighted lines go to the "Unassigned Objects" Scanlist (the discard pile at the poker table?).
