I have a GRE 500, I used the Arc 500 software and used RR link to download the frequencies into the scanner for my area.
Willoughby, Ohio Lake County.

When I go to scan I get a message that says nothing enabled.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am wondering if the 500 will work for my area.

Lake Co is using a 5 site simulcast system. The PSR-500 does not like simulcast. It may work fine depending on your location in relation to the towers. If you attach your ARC500 programming file, I will check it for problems. You will have to right click on the file and Send to Compressed (zipped) folder to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and Open the zipped folder.

I did that. I pressed the number 1 and all it does is, it will lock on one frequency and does not seem
to scan.
Plus it makes all these screeching noises when it trying to scan.

I am not sure how to do that.

What Screen, the post screen. I don't see any 3-1/2 inch yellow floppy anywhere. The only thing I see at the bottom of the screen on the
left is the paper clip attach files.

When I click on it, I can open my files. However it only shows a half page of my documents, not the whole page of my documents.
Don,t know where the other half page is, which is where the file is.
