i recorded a conventional p25 frequency while paused on that frequency, and its not showing the nac or radio ids. i have it set to display conventional radio id in settings. is there something in ez scan im not thinking of? it sometimes displays both, sometimes not. thanks

If the radio is in search mode, it should record the NAC. If the radio is in scan mode, it won't (even if Tone is set to search) - presumably, the assumption was that if you've got something programmed in as an object, you already know what you need to know about it. RID's should be recorded either way, IF they were decoded - RID's don't always get decoded.

Sometimes RIDs just don't decode properly. Sometimes that's the scanner's fault (or a reception problem), or it could be a patch - P25 analog-to-digital patches will sometimes not show up with a radio ID at all on scanners when they're put together a certain way.
