Gre vs. uniden

I was wanting to know who makes the better scanner for Radio Shack GRE or Uniden :?: (I am not looking to buy one i just got one on 9/04)

Whoa you opened a huge can of worms....
The answer is a question: What do you need in a scanner?

Both make excellent products.

Both have trunkers,...
Both have digital,...
Both have scanners that are base/mobile,...
Both have portables,...
The only advantage that is clearly a GRE/Radio Shack one is this: You can find Radio Shacks almost anywhere, and they service what they sell.
You don't see a Uniden Store in almost every town do you? You must usually special order thier products.
