I've just acquired a used Uniden BC 350C and need emergency frequencies for programming it, especially the ones in the Greensburg (a little east of Pittsburgh), PA area. I have the old ones from my old Bearcat Scanner but I also know that they no longer will work. Can someone please point me in the right direction to obtain the local (Westmoreland Co.) frequencies for my area?

Good news and bad news:

The good news: There is a lot of conventional stuff you be able to hear on the 350...the database page for Westmoreland county is here: Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (PA) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

The bad news: Much of Westmoreland County public safety is on a digital trunked system that the 350 won't be able to pick up (you'd need a digital scanner like the BCD396T or BCD996T for that). That system is in the database here: Scanner Frequencies: Westmoreland County Public Safety Trunking System, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania

Hemp fire 1 154.355
Hemp fire 2 154.010
Jeanette fire 159.315

Not going to hear much on the old zone ch's all on 800.

ems dispatch 155.160 again not much just pages and north huntingdon traffic.

Police North Huntingdon 154.770
Penn twp Local gvt 453.775

Mutual aid ems all on 800.

State police greensburg base 154.920
greensburg psp mobile 154.830
psp tac-1 155.460
psp tac-2 151.490
