R8600 Group/memory name issue

Tried to edit a group to add a name in memory and the screen and all the keys locked up. Had to shut down the main P/S to clear the radio. Followed the directions
in the manual and tried it again. Same result. I get as far as selecting "Quick" key and get to the "edit name" screen and it locks up.

Ok I fixed the problem with Group/Memory name. I did a partial reset and it cleared the issue.

That has been my experience with both the R8600 and R30... if you have a problem turn them off and back on again (couldn't resist an
I.T. Crowd joke there !). If that doesn't work, then do a partial reset. Seems to fix everything.
