Guthrie 911.......Hello....Anyone there

Has anyone else heard that Guthrie after February will not have any money in the police departments budget to pay for the city's budget to pay for the four full time and one part time disptachers in the city.....Guthrie handles the majority of the calls for Logan County including Guthrie Police, Logan County Sheriff, Guthrie Fire, Sooner Fire, Woodcrest Fire, and Meridian Fire Departments.... I belive the plan was to move them to the new county jail so that they could have one place to funnel all of the calls for the county to one place and the Logan County Sherrifs department would dispatch officers....Anyone else hear this or is my source making it up.....And for those in Logan County, how do u fell about it.....

I have it from a pretty good source that it ain't gonna happen.

Not now, Not ever!

I hope my source is right because mine and my neighbors saftey depends on it!

man that would be a mess,,hell if they do move it to the jail maybe they could save more money by letting the prisoners answer the phones and do the dispatching,,lol!
