I moved away from there many, many moons ago, but my recollection is that the Roanoke Valley Rescue Squad handled that area. They were on 155.280, as most all of us in NENC were and may still be on 39.10, which we used a long with everyone else, before we got the high band equipment. Also, the HEAR frequncy of 155.340 might be active.
