Iv got Halton, Oakville and burlington programed into my MRK.
Iv also got the 3 sites all in there too.. But when ever i go to them areas i never can connect to a tower. It's always in CC scan
Aare the site number different or something? Or are the channels for a different site?

It's the same for Brantford's edacs system too
London, Chatham-Kent, Lambton, Toronto all of them work. Just not Brantford and Halton area and cant figure out why not

Dude, nothing ever goes on in Halton.

No way. I monitor Halton all day and there is non stop action. Drugs, guns, domestics, fights, stolen cars, suicides, runaways, it all happens in Halton, and all day.

Yes, with EDACS systems the freqs must be in correct order for your scanner to properly track it.

Oh well, I listen to Peel and Toronto as well. My characterisation:

Toronto: robberies and murders all day.
Peel: chasing hookers and drug dealers all day.
Oakville; suicides, domestics, assaults, drunks, guns, drive-offs, crack dealers, crack addicts, stolen cars, speeders, thefts, parole breakers.

I would not call Oakville boring at all! But yes, I am glad we do not have quite the number of serious crimes... the cops are more social workers. Which I consider a good thing... :)

Peel and Halton are boring compared to Toronto which is a good things, of course things happen in both regions... Their is a lot of talk on their so Muxlow has to have something programmed wrong... Hookers in Peel? Try 22 band buddy a lot more gun activity then people are aware of...

Halton is 'managable' scanning.
In Toronto you cant follow all the action at once.
Too much going on.

Yeah, we're at 400 murders a year, right?

Peel: chasing hookers and drug dealers all day.
Sounds like Toronto.

Oakville; suicides, domestics, assaults, drunks, guns, drive-offs, crack dealers, crack addicts, stolen cars, speeders, thefts, parole breakers.
Sounds like Toronto.

Exactly. My point! Halton is not boring.. wish that it was.

And yes, "all of Toronto" is a bit much.. better to monitor your local division I;d say?

Yup, Toronto is very hard to monitor even if you key on one area.

An example:
When I lived in the midtown area I had to monitor patches on 51/53, 13/Hwy, as well as fire calls for the north, south & west areas.
For EMS to hear calls in 18 or 19 You pretty much had to focus on all divisions since both stations were on Eglinton

You need many different radios & pairs of ears to follow it all.
