The Control Channel will forcefully ID Breaking the Data Stream
Also for stations IDing on the Control channel I have 2 things
1 - All stations that are on the system use their Amateur DMR ID then go to register with me so I know who they are
2 - My Callsign is IDing for them since I am the Control op of the station

I can explain how it all works later

#1 is good for you to control system access but this has nothing to do with Part 97 identification requirements for the users.

As for #2, this does not cover the subscriber's legal responsibility to ID their own transmissions in accordance with part 97. They can ID their transmissions on the voice channels simply by vocalizing their ID, but not on the inbound control channel. Your license does not cover this any more than it would on any other repeater. This is one of the main issues our FCC guy informed us about when we floated the idea of control channel based Trunking. He also said the FCC most likely would take issue with a continuous broadcast of the outbound control channel even though we argued that it was not a one way transmission since subscribers could interact with the data stream on the inbound frequency.

OK, this is interesting AF.
Would a/an L3Harris XG100P work on this system (via a hotspot since I'm a lil' ways out of SLC nowdays)?
