Today while in the area I came across Harford Co Dispatch and Fire ops rebroadcast at 507.6 PL136.5. It was not in the database nor under any FCC search. I was going to submit it to the database but can someone confirm what I am hearing or know exactly what it broadcasts? Also does anyone know where it comes from?

Could it be an image.. If you were very close to the tower?? I'll program it in my scanlist, but it's probably a fluke.

Well maybe, but I doubt it. This was on an SDS100 scanner using an 800mhz portable antenna in Oxford, Pa.

Perhaps you picked up a voice ch from this system..
I'm 5 miles from Oxford. I've not heard anything on 507.6 from my location.. So far anyway..
Can hear 460.6 fine..

This was right on Market Street approaching Rt 10 near the firehouse. I'm pretty sure it's not Burlington Co. 507.6 is a control channel for that system 70 miles away in Pemberton, NJ. If it were ever used for a voice channel it would be digital. This was analog, had a pl tone of 136.5, and the traffic was dispatch which gave specific addresses in Harford County which I looked up to confirm. The audio quality was good with no overmodulation and reception was weak but did not cut out or vary greatly at any point. This was on a Uniden SDS100 scanner (known for giving image artifact on very nearby signals) but with an 800mhz portable antenna, inside a vehicle no less I have some doubt that's what it was. Unfortunately I don't get out this way much, but I wanted to give the heads up to look out for this. Thank you for trying.

Thanks for the details.. I still think it was an SDS100 image issue. I'll continue to monitor 507.6 but have not had any hits on either 436. Haven't tried it on the SDS.. But if it's legit.. We'll find it out.. ;)

Anything around 506-512Mhz would not be a valid assignment for Harford County because it would have been in the contour for television channel 20. These freqs are supposed to go away (auctioned off) by 2021.
