Yes what GM said above. 95% of NJFFS communications continues on VHF and I don't see that changing any time soon. There was only a small group of APX dual band radios handed out to higher ranking individuals. So 700 usage is very minimal. NJFFS Div B continues to add more Ch 8 VHF repeaters and as GM mentioned, took over all the DEP 1 and 3 VHF repeaters.

TG 4595 DEP Fire North RID’s 2360xxx today with routine Ops and checkins, Site 7.
Also RID 99795 “Trenton Dispatch” was control point. Sounds good.

Listening to how they've been running this season I have to believe that we'd be on all the national news reports like those mega fires in California & Canada lately.
