Anyone happen to know about this setup? I found it on RR, but it's not in Sentinel or any other programming software. Could it be because there's no TG's associated?

If so, how are we supposed to program the SDS to listen to find out what's on it? LOL

If you have Proscan you can import it from RR and upload to your scanner. I just uploaded it into my 436HP with RR. Maybe next week's Sentinel data base upload will have it. It was added on Nov 22nd to the data base.

I threw it in my SDS200 (I use the Sentinel Software) and just nothing to scan. So I'm confused on what's there - or what should be there - LOL

I just don't do enough programming on my scanner to utilize anything other than manual or Sentinel programming.

Now my Unication G5 is a different story - LOL

Make sure you are in ID search mode. Since there are no talk groups programmed yet it won’t scan anything in ID scan mode. It is a DMR single frequency trunk system I think. I don’t have an SDS model so not sure how to program it there. I put it in my 436hp I have in my vehicle. It was scanning but was silent. This “forced” me to buy the 996P2 so I can have it running in my house all day attached to pro scan and record to see what it picks up. It should be here next week. Up until now my old but reliable 996xt and 15x suited me just fine for my home scanner. For a few seconds I though about getting an SDS for a few hundred more, but than reality set in I really don’t have I need for one in this area yet. 😀

Good afternoon. Hope you had a great XMas...

So I've got it programmed like this for the DMR Navajo County SO:

Also, I programmed the NCSO P25 in there that supposedly has a boat ton of traffic:

Hopefully when I'm back up in the mountains next week, something will pop up on either both, or at least one of those systems.

DMR One Frequency and P25 One Frequency systems can only have one frequency for their site. So each frequency must be on its own One Frequency system. Only trunked systems can have multiple frequencies on a site. I know the scanner will accept multiple frequencies for a One Frequency system, but it is not a valid set-up.

When I imported the Navajo county south DMR from RR to Proscan it imported it as a DMR one frequency trunk system. All the sites have only one frequency except Heber site. I had it scanning for about a month, with Proscan recording and not heard anything yet. The only choice there is for DMR is a one frequency trunk. If you look at the FCC license info every site has 4 frequencies. I wonder why just the Heber has all 4 listed in RR. I am wondering if I should try to program all those frequencies as a convention DMR frequency and see if I get any type of data signals.

For the NCSO P25 program it as a conventional, frequency with a P25 NAC of 65. There is a lot of traffic on that frequency.

I was just doing some reading on DRM trunk systems, I think you will have to break up the Heber site into 4 different sites each with its own frequency, or program them all as conventional DMR. I think I am going to program all the frequencies listed to their license as a conventional DMR under one system name and see what happens.

Thanks @p19997 for pointing this out.

I got some recordings from the Porter site 154.90. They are power company talk groups 400, 401.
