Hello from Missouri

Hi everyone! I'm currently studying for my Tech License and thought I would drop in to introduce myself. After reading lots of the post here on the forum for the past week, I can say I have a LOT to learn other than the question pool!

Here is my "plan" on my gear I'm gonna get.

Kenwood TM-V71A 2m/70cm with Larsen NMO 2/70 Black antenna
Bearcat BCT-15X scanner with Larsen NMO 150/450/800 antenna
Cobra 29-LX CB with Larsen NMO 27B antenna

All this will be installed in a 2002 Dakota club cab that I use for storm chasing and skywarn. I do have a few questions on the antenna installs and radio mounting ideas but I will leave that for the correct thread.

Looking forward to meeting new people and learning from the vast amount of information on this forum.

Passed my Tech test today!! It was actually pretty easy! Now to study for my General test next month!
