Help finding the audio in a feed

I looking for some kind of program that I can open a downloaded 30 minute feed with that will show me where the audio is so I don't have to listen to the whole 30 minutes or risk missing something trying to skip a minute here and there.

Anything useful out there?

Audacity

I use Audacity: Audacity: Download

Just open the file and you'll see the audio waveform . . . you can then just skip to the audio.

Not sure how you are recording the file, but if you want software that can record just the active audio, you can try RadioLog.

I believe the OP is downloading feed archives that have already been recorded by Radio Reference, and he's trying to delete the "dead air" from those pre-recorded files.
