Help me pick a new mobile radio

Not built in, but easily interfaced.

I need a radio that has APRS built in, due to dimensional constraints and durability issues. Rigging in APRS is a step backwards when it has been available for years.

After all the channel information is entered, I believe you can go back and change much of the info including removing the transmit freq ...

To followup with this. I was able to block transmit on stored frequencies by entering an Airband frequency (example 121.000) under the Transmit Frequency field in the software. So, I can now monitor any frequency but also prevent transmit of the same. The radio will beep and show an error.
