I'm trying to familiarize myself with my Tecsun PL-880. It says on page 9 of the operations manual that I can use the keypad numbers to enter a frequency manually. However when I enter the frequency number it stays there for a couple of seconds then reverts back to the number set by the tuning knob. Thanks for any help.

Are you hitting the Return Button after the frequency?
(It has a right pointing arrow and below it it has "delete"

My button is different but it worked. Thanks a ton. My button is the return button of the same color as the others (grey). My clue was the word delete underneath. I didn't find this in the operation manual - yet?

I see they do not actually tell you to hit the Enter key!
The Delete key is for deleting Memories that is around pages 13 to 15
