Hello RR friends -- I'm a longtime listener of the P25 system in Memphis/Shelby County, but have been doing more work in Perry County and can't pick up the sheriff's office. I know it's not a super busy department, but my handheld isn't receiving anything even when I'm next to a county-issued radio that is receiving loud and clear.
The current database shows them operating on 453.51250 with Tone of "CC 2 TG 16700000 SL 1". I used the default preset in Sentinel, which gives them Auto modulation and Audio Option of "Color Code 2". Do I need to manually program in any of that other Tone information to hear?
This thread from 2018 suggested the sheriff is actually on 453.412500, and other user thought a third frequency 458.412500 could be working as an input frequency. After that it looked like everything moved to private messages or emails so I can't figure out what was decided.
Does anyone know if the current database listing is the correct one, and how to make my 436HP receive it?
