to check the squelch,
hit the function button, and tap the top knob.
the setting will show on the bottom of the screen.

with ID SCAN scrolling across the screen, you will ONLY hear the saved talkgroups.
so a better setting to make sure you can hear the system is ID SEARCH.
and to get to that easy is, when the radio is on a trunked system you hit the function button and then the scan button.
that is also the way to toggle it and turn it back if you want.

no.
you might have to work on some other things though.
let it scan for a little bit.
and it still could be that you can't hear the systems.

The analog squelch level is on 2
The p25 squelch level is on 15

What is the best on analog and the best on p25

And what I mean with the best is to get the low and strong Signal

The squelch on P25 are probably the digital threshold and if you set that to max or min it will not decode a digital signal. The Auto setting will try and find the best value but if the signal are weak it could malfunction and set it to 15 where it will not decode properly. Set it to 8 to be sure that it will start to decode. Another problem could be the NAC setting. Set it to search to avoid any issues.

Do you see any signal strength bars when it stops on the system for 2 seconds? Or does it quickly scans past it without stopping? Then it doesn't receive any signal.

First step to do when something doesn't work are to check that you can receive a signal as you might be in a bad spot or the site are too far away.
Press the Hold button and enter the control channel frequency of the closest site and then hit Enter. Push Menu until you are back at the frequency monitor screen where that frequency are displayed. Set squelch to 0 and listen. If it's only white noise then you have no signal and need to move the scanner to other positions until you hear a data signal. You might need to get an external antenna if your location are not the best one. I can only hear one system if I use the antenna on a scanner and have to use the best possible external antenna to hear more systems.

how about taking the radio outside to see if you live in a faraday cage.
that is where radio signals can't get in.
maybe walk around the yard.

That's on the p25

On Conventional system I don't get any numbers But the square level is set on 8 also
On Conventional system I have a set audio type setting. Is it safe to put it on all.Screenshot_20220227-145606_Gallery.jpg

You can't set different squelch level on different systems or in analog or digital. That's why I thought you ment that squelch 15 where the digital threshold as it will go that high. Keep squelch at 2 and digital threshold to 8.

How I understand leave the squelch level on 2 for the Conventional and P25 system

What about the picture on the conventional system setting on ate audio type to all or leave it on analog?

Normally you set it to All, to be able to decode any conventional mixed mode analog/digital P25, or DMR if you have bought that option.

The Digital Wait Time are just a mute function that mutes the audio for that time when it opens squelch. It is supposed to spare you from listening to the digital data until it have switched to digital mode. To stop that timer to interfere with analog transmissions you can set it to 0. It has nothing to do with the decode function, only an audio mute function and are only active when the audio mode are set to All.
