Hello All,

I would like to put my scanner online to listen to when I am at work but I am so lost. I have a couple of questions that I hope will help me get this thing working.

1) Is there any free program that I can use to put scanner online
2) What supplies do I need?
3) I have the usb programming cable, can this be used to capture the audio?
4) I have the demo version of proscan and I attempted to place online with this program and it appeared to be working fine but no one could connect to my scanner it kept giving errors, what am I doing wrong?

In order for ProScan to work for the general public, you have to open port 5000 on your router.

I'll second using ScanAmerica. You get the added benefit of having your scanner recorded and achieved in case you miss something.
