I still cant figure out the purpose of having selectable filters as both GLOBAL and INDIVIDUAL. For example I monitor 4 sites/FL. On two of them W-NORMAL works best and on the other two W-INVERT works best. So what do I need global setting for? I dont know what to set it to since the filters are already individually set in each of my 4 FL's.

If you set Filters to an individual site(s), it will override the Global Filter, so whatever you have it set as won't matter for those 4 sites. Might be better off to set it to OFF for the time being.

Global simply offers the ability to set more than one at a time. If you wanted to change the filter and have it apply to all entries you have programmed it might take you all week to do only one entry at a time. Global allows the filter setting to apply to all. Then you turn off those individual entries you don’t want it to apply to, simply change that entry to a different filter, or turn off filters, including Global, altogether.
