Help with BC_VUP_v2.0.0.3

I downloaded BC_VUP_v2.0.0.3.zip, installed it and it's looking for the .scn file. Where is that located?

UNZIP the BC_VUP_v2.0.0.3.zip file and it will appear in the folder where you save it.

Nope not there. All that's there is BC_VUP.ini configuation file. Nothing else.

The firmware is basically the operating system the scanner uses. Check what version is already on the scanner the latest is 1.03.04. You can check using Menu>Settings>See Scanner Info>Firmware Version.

You need to download the firmware update it's not contained in the BC_VUP download, it's a seperate download.

You have the latest I was looking at the wrong firmware uodate.
The firmware is on the Uniden website just like BC_VUP is, it's also in the files section of the Yahoo BCT15 group.

I believe youll need to update to 1.04.12 FIRST before you can go to v2.
And as well register it on the Uniden My scanners page.. to get a key for a major upgrade

We were talking about the BCT15 there is no major upgrade for it. BC_VUP_v2.0.0.3 is just the firmware updater and doesn't require anything but install to use.
