hi all is it possible to scan and store trucked systems without noting what the frequencies are on bct15x ether with software or just the scanner its self
Welcome to RR The short answer is :NO. In order for trunking to work correctly, you need some/all of the frequencies, you need create a system with them, AND you need to specify what type of system. However, it is possible to search for frequencies, save them, and then monitor them as part of a conventional system. You will miss some conversions that way, and it won't work all the time for every system. In order to do this, you need to be very lucky in searching to aquire some/all of the frequencies belonging to a system(s), but a search of the FCC licenses for your area would give you a head-start on what range to search and what ones belong to a system. Even this is not a guarantee of finding systems, but it is a place to start.

EDIT: just noticed you are from UK. FCC license search is only USA. This may be of some help:

It would help greatly if you would go into your User CP (found in the blue toolbar under the thread title) then click on Edit Your Details in the left frame. Put in your location. This will help narrow down your responses to those folks that are in your general neck of the woods. Also, you haven't asked for help on the UK forum. That should be you next stop.
