SDR# Help with SDR

Could use some help with figuring out how to scan trunked systems with SDR. I have tried to install programs with the instructions from YouTube and so far no luck..

What kind of SDR? What kind of software?

I have two RTL.STR dongles. I have tried DSD+ and SDR Trunk.

Do the RTL's work okay with other software? Do you know your area's trunking freqs and import the group ID's from here using the function in SDR-Trunk ?

I had this working at one point on my desktop computer but the audio would never come back out of the speakers. RR has some frequencies incorrect I believe, but when I get it set on the control channel I still didn't get any audio out of the computer.

I tried to get this to work on my Win7 laptop last night and couldn't get them to go at all.
