I have been using Radio reference for a few months now and haven't been able to find Talkgroup frequencys, only the decimals appear. I would appreciate it if someone could please tell me how to find the frequencys. Thanks for any future replies.

Well, talkgroups don't have frequencies so that may be some of you problem.

Care to share any specific agency or agencies?

the radio,
[RX] 136 – 174MHz, 400 – 520MHz, 68-108MHz (FM Broadcast)
(VHF/UHF) Analog

so the radio is not digital, so you can not hear it
the radio does not do trunking, so you can not hear it
the radio does not get the 700 band, so you can not hear it....

you can not hear it.
the radio is really for ham folks.

I also have an old radio shack scanner, if it is analog would it pick it up or would I need a p25 phase 2 radio?

the wife and i bought a 325 because more radios are OK.
our county is on a 700 simulcast system.
the 325 works great all around the county, except near our house.
so we bought the SDS100 and it is great.
the 325 had a cycle of half second good/ half second drop.
it is sitting in the window now, just like the 325 did, and it is fine.
so i am on board with the "you have to get it" crowd.
to me it was not a waste of money as when we go out, we listen to two different things anyway.
