Hendricks County Scanners?

Hi everyone! I am new to Radio Reference forums but have enjoyed my time here so far. Does anyone know what is going on with Hendricks County Scanner feed? I keep seeing them post hiring flyers for various tech roles. Does this mean no one is there to fix it??

I'm sure they have people to deal with continuity of service matters. The feed probably isn't a high priority.

There's been a fair amount of turnover at Hendricks County Communications in recent years. The manager and assistant manager that were there when I was involved with county EMA are gone and I think they've lost some experienced dispatchers and technical people.

I use a scanner to listen to Fire and EMS.

The lead tech said the equipment for FD ops 1 was bad and it would be a while before it got fixed replaced. Now it looks like dispatch is gone too.
I've called and texted, no response. I'm curious why our sirens did not go off yesterday.
I'm having a problem with Hcom replying to my public records request for meeting minutes for their advisory board.

I'm going to file a complaint with the public access counselor's office, but Luke Britt left a few months ago and the new girl does not
have any staff to help her.

I've mentioned the idea of moving the ECC under the county's administration to save us money, I feel Plainfield takes advantage of running the center for the county.

Good news, fire dispatch and ops 1 are back. The tech said they had to order new interface cables and then his grandfather was in the hospital so he was more focused on family than audio. His grandfather is out now and in rehab, praise the Lord.
