May go with amazon since they have a good return policy. Only $40 bucks more. Still don't know if the tarriffs are in effect as that would increase the cost.
I have been very interested since it was announced more than a year ago, unfortunately nothing but cricket noise from Lab599 themselves. Has there been a recent update? I've also been emailing them periodically about the BP-550 (upgraded BP-500) for quite some time and the emails all go unanswered. I know they are Russian and moved the business to UAE after the Russian invasion to avoid sanctions, but it seems they are still struggling with some issues in maintaining the brand. Hopefully it's just customer relations. Their radios are great.
