Hi all at Radio Reference, I'm a new user to this site and to the Uniden UBC3600xlt that is the European model, I think it is the same as the BCD436HP. I am in Ireland. I dont know which buttons I have pressed but it is saying on the screen on the top Quick Save System, on the middle, Quick Save Department, and on the bottom, it says Scanning, does anyone know how I can put it back to the way it was.
Thanks Marty

Most likely, one of these two things occurred.

Were you doing a search on a range of frequencies?

or

Did you have Close Call enabled?

In either one of these scenarios, the scanner might stop on a frequency in your search range. Or, with Close Call enabled, it "found" a hit within range. In either of these cases, if you accidentally hit the E/enter button on the keypad, the scanner thinks you want to 'save' the frequency it found. The default "Save" location is the 'Quick Save' system (Quick Save system-->>Quick Save Department).

Presuming that you did not want to save the found item, you should be able to resume scanning either by pressing the System key (the farthest left of the three keys below the main keypad), or by hitting the 'Avoid" key.
