At 7:00 am on June 16, 2012, a firefighter working on the High Park Fire was taken by life flight to a local hospital. The firefighter suffered a non-life threatening, medical emergency due to a pre-existing condition and is currently stable. The firefighter’s family and home unit are being contacted.

Channel 7 just had some footage from the ICP and a map in the background showed a CMD-4 repeater in use on the west end of the fire-

Sounds like Sunday will be a tough day. Red flag warnings with winds 40 to 50 mph.
I cant get over the amount of freqs they have beenn using.....

I keep hearing reference to a second A/A but cant seem to pin it down.

I think they just ordered the evacuation of the entire Glacier View area at noon local - per the Larimer County feed - but they also said something about "tomorrow"

Due to increased fire activity, the Highway 14 roadblock has been moved from Gateway Park back to Ted's place. Access into the Poudre Canyon from Ted's place is now restricted to fire personnel only.

Date: 6/17/2012
A 30-year-old Denver man was arrested early this morning after being seen in the fire area in a truck with a stolen government license plate.
Michael Stillman Maher, DOB: 092481, was contacted inside the fire area by a wild land fire chief last night. Mr. Maher appeared to have phony firefighter credentials and was driving a silver Toyota Tacoma with a government license plate and lettering on the window. He was last seen leaving the area at about 10:30 p.m. on County Road 52E. Roving patrols were unable to locate him at that time.
Later the vehicle was spotted in Laporte, Colorado and deputies were able to locate Mr. Maher in a local bar. The government license plate turned out to be stolen from the Glenwood Springs area and there was stolen property in the vehicle as well as a firearm. The vehicle was registered to Mr. Maher.
Mark Maher was arrested for:
18-8-104 Obstructing Fire/Police M2
18-8-113 Impersonating Fire/Police M3
18-4-401(c) Theft F4
18-8-306 Attempt to Influence Public Servant F4
He is currently being held at the Larimer County Jail pending setting of bond.
The charge(s) are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty

Ya Im noticing the same but dont forget all air assets are down for this fire Im still hearing some traffic but and also 168.7 is in the sqelch on my 780 but on my 396xt I can hear it constant chatter

I also do not hear anything on the Rocky Mountain,USFS,Mountain Communities Feed...and haven't for days. Technical difficulties?
