A correction to the NCHP info on Radio Reference, though ...

The remote mentioned as "Emerald Isle" is really in Newport, at the same site as the NCHP high band repeater. The frequency is 457.050 MHz., and the tone is 85.4 Hz.

This link carries the mobile side of channel 7 back to another site in New Bern, from which I believe it passes on a mutiplexed link back to Williamston.

For hobbyists in the area who might have a problem hearing the NCHP mobiles on low band, they may find better reception by listening to the link, if they are within a lobe of the directional UHF antenna.

At one time, the link carrying Williamston dispatch from New Bern to the Newport remote was on 72.84 MHz, but I don't have the tone in my logs.
