Hello All!
I have tried numerous times to monitor Hobart PD on my Uniden BCD996P2. I have the Simulcast frequencies as: 774.71875, 773.99375, 773.44375, 772.84375 and the DEC channels of 91. 92. 93. and 94. But I don't hear a darn thing. Anyone have any suggestions please email me at: ajsam106@gmail.com. Thanks!

While most of Lake is on the County System, there are several agencies on the SAFE-T and some on both. And yes all can use both.

Hobart is not on SAFE-T. They are on the Lake County Phase II system, they usually did not dispatch on their Dispatch TG 91, from what I remember they did their dispatch on TG 4 Hobart Police Law 1A, this may have changed since I have moved from Lake County last year.

Thanks for that info. I have tried everything else. SAFE-T and the Lake County Phase II. I will plug in the TG 4 and see what happens.

Glad it worked out for you. I know the setup on some of the towns on the Lake County system are setup kind of unusual.
I hear some FD's dispatched on the automated system. Are there others, like Highland, Griffith, or others dispatched differently? I don't believe I'm hearing all FD"s in Lake.

They did all the towns FD's dispatch automated, they would do them on East, West and South Fire TG's, I believe it would still be the same. I moved away from Lake County last year and some things could have changed in Lake County. I live in Vanderburgh County Indiana now and their Harris P25 system has all Fire and EMS dispatch done by the dispatcher on the shift, which I found unusual.

Yeah, I hear the automated dispatch for some, then I hear Gary's and then their own dispatch. I was wondering if others did the same. I rarely hear other Departments other than Gary, Dyer, East Chicago. I was just curious if others did the dispatch on their own TG like Gary.

For some reason, I do not hear the automated dispatch all the time on Lake Co Pub Safety. I'll have 2 scanners running fire channels only. A way around that is to program the conventional frequency of 154.815. It works all the time although it may be a stretch from Chesterton unless you have an outside antenna. It is the automated dispatch but not through the simulcast repeaters. It's worth a try.

If you have all the Lake County TG's programmed in you should hear all the FD dispatches. Only 2 you may not are Schererville and Cedar Lake, I believe those 2 towns dispatch on the state SAFE-T system for both FD and PD. Maybe run ID search also just in case they have added new TG's.
