Just a point of information, as of June 3, 2005 the Hoboken Fire Department has moved all operations to the new UHF Frequency.

It is 471.550

I still hear activity on 170.15. I thought I did anyway. I saw the frequency stopped as a glanced over at the receiver the other day. Is it still in use for something, or is it supposed to be completely unused? Also does anyone else notice low audio on the 471.55 channel?

Fire suppresion ops are on the new frequency. Fire Prevention/Fire Marshals, and the Mechanic remain on the old VHF freq.

They all will be changing over shortly.
