I could be convinced that the Safety Drive site is not currently on the air. It appears that the coverage in the Queenstown area is emanating from the Centreville Barrack site.

maus92: Thanks for the additional info about the Safety Drive site. However, I've also stopped receiving any broadcasts on the F.I.R.S.T. from Kent Co. I resurrected my old RS Pro 197, and entered the analog dispatch freqs for Q.A. & Kent Co.'s so at least I can listen to that. As mentioned earlier, a few days ago, I took the HP to an area of Cecil Co., that doesn't use simulcast, and it worked much better. Looks like the HP will eventually have to be replaced.

Concur that your HP2 needs to be replaced. I owned one that I used to monitor FIRST as a mobile radio. But when I acquired a G5 and compared the two, it was clear that the HP2 was unsat for simulcast reception and I sold it shortly thereafter.

@brennin : It turns out that there is no FIRST simulcast subsite at the Route 18 Park (which explains why the signal was sucking near that location, lol). I had *thought* that this site was the "Safety Drive" site, but it turns out that the Safety Drive site is actually located at the MSP Centreville Barrack. Not sure why your HP2 stopped working suddenly because no changes have started at Safety Drive - but they will be raising the TX antenna there in the future.
