Not for me. I prefer real radios. I have an RTL-SDR that's being returned as we write. It's not tablet friendly for one and I'm not messing with the only capable laptop which is my wife's.
I wanted to try decoding digital but too much BS with virtual cables and all that crap. Good riddance. No way I could get that to work.
My Sangean 909x and X2 do very well on the longwire on HF aircraft which I like to monitor. Grundig 750 does well too for a CCR receiver.
