Well I started out with a $.99 app on my iPhone listening to calls, then I came across the RR website and listened to the live audio feeds. Now I bought a Radio Shack Pro-106 and having a blast. So far I have the following control channels programmed but don't seem to be hearing to much in the Maple Grove area.

1-002 Anoka County Simulcast
1-009 Minneapolis N-S Simulcast
2-001 Hennepin County Eastt Simulcast
2-002 Hennepin County West Simulcast

Keep in mind that Maple Grove is on one of the Hennepin County Police mains and the Hennepin fire mains. I dont listen to maple grove enough to tell you which one they'll be on though. Someone can better fill you in on that as well as unit IDs. You will likely not hear a lot on the maple grove specific TGs. Those dont get used too much.

The towers you list are good for Maple Grove.
Are there specific Gencies you are not hearing?
Are you listening open- any talkgroup on the tower will come across or are you using closed mode- listening onlyto specific talkgroups?

I am using the Wildcard function of the scanner for all towers. From what I have read it sounds like I want to tune into the Hennepin Cty North Main TG - 10002 to hear Maple Grove Police. I was looking for the Maple Grove TG's that are on the database, but from other posts these are not used very much.

Maple Grove Police 5800 squads are on Hennepin North. Brooklyn Center 3200, Brooklyn Park 5100, Crystal 3300, New Hope 4100, Robbinsdale 3800 are on Hennepin East. Plymouth 6700 is on the Hennepin South main.
