Are these encrypted or possiblity heading that way? Looking for a scanner to pick these up.

Database says they're clear. Strongly consider the Uniden SDS100 or SDS200 to overcome simulcast distortion you'll likely face if you're within listening range of two or more towers on the simulcast.
I currently have an sds200 for another local area. Running both will not cause any issues?:

Some of the tactical channels are encrypted as well especially HCSO Supervisors and Tac 3 channel for the HCSO users. With all what's going in this area I wouldn't be suprised if they go silent/full encrypted or half encrypted in which I mean clear for dispatch and encrypted for the officiers and etc.
That wouldn't be a huge turn off for me. I would just switch to another local city. ,Byron pd/Peach SO. Or just separate my current BSO/Fire to individual feeds
Yeaa, unless you have their encryption information, you would be rebroadcasting a bunch of scrambled garbage.
Sad thing is, folks just don't learn til it's too late.
Same thing with Dooly county, SO is enc now. So are Twiggs, Crawford, Jones and Bleckley counties around you.
I guess you could do Pulaski county, until they call Macon Comm to put keys in.
