I have made a post in the WV area check in thread yesterday and today. Neither have shown up. How long does it take to have a post show? May need to add a couple more Mods to approve posts if you are overloaded. I moderate on a cb forum so I understand it can be a hassle to approve posts if you are short handed. Just makes it difficult for us to say something or ask a question if our posts are not being approved.

Your master site
You moderate a forum yet when you go to a new one you don't browse their rules or FAQ's?
http://forums.radioreference.com/fo...requently-asked-administrative-questions.html

I'm sorry that it takes so long but think of where you would be before this site existed; I would advise patience as whether one is approved or pending an answer could still be days away. This site is SLAMMED with spam so I'm more than happy with the minor inconvenience provided to new members.

For any future forum issues I would recommend posting to the Forum Admin forum. This has been covered many times before. Lurk, read, then post.

Thanks for the reply but no need in being an *** about it. I wasn't being one. Btw they have spam filters that will help eliminate being slammed with spam...

He's not being an *** about it, in fact your showing your true colours especially being a new member, you being a moderator on another forum should know how to present yourself in a large internet site.

You have no idea how we have to scrutinize each new moderated post, these spam artists are the best out there, and filters will not help especially on how they post, they are tricky.

We will try and speed the process up as best as we can, we are volunteers to site.

Thanks

The way he started his response off came off that way. If he wasnt trying to be one in his response maybe he could have just said Check the FAQ instead of busting someones balls for asking a question. Yall have a good one.

I am closing this thread. There is obviously a problem. New members not reading and understanding the rules is one problem. A bit of over reaction on being called on it and then there is the language. I will remind everyone that this specific forum is an absolute safe zone, as stated. Where? At the top of the forum index where some of those pesky rules are.
