I seem to have good reception on several towers and the amount of frequencies I have programmed in is a little excessive and I'm sure slows my scanner down considerably. So my question is can I just add my local tower and receive all the same comms or is it best to add as many towers as possible in case they just work an individual tower?
How many towers on the TACN system do I need to program into my SD200 to get local and system wide Communications?

If you are going to be stationary then ONLY THE TOWER SITES YOU CAN HEAR.
Anything else is WASTING SCAN TIME.
Look at the circle for each site near you that has TG's you want to receive are you in the coverage circle.

Yes, I live near the TN Tower and that’s all I have programmed in my desktop, the two red ones.
