anyone ever stopped and looked at a police/sheriff/HP cruiser as they go by? ever stopped to look at the antennes? the number of antennes usualy is a good indicator as to what kind of equipment as far as radio's go inside. for instance grand forks pd and und pd has 2, 800mhz for radio, and 400mhz for mdt, grand forks sheriff dept have 4 uhf's, 1 vhf, and 1 800. hp's, 1 or 2 vhf's, 2 400mhz, and probably a cell phone/800. remember the shorter the antenna, the higher the freq.
