How to change ID to Alpha

I am dazed on this one. I can not figure out how to change the ID# to Alpha tag.

On which scanner? Do you have a text tag on the channel?

I was using the PSREdit500 and seems the text group wouldn't show up on the radio. I used the Win500 and the alpha text showed up.

When I setting all the info on PSREdit500 software and I write to the radio and all alpha tags will show up on radio just shows ID or Freq. I went and download the win500 starrsoft site and it worked fine. I still don't know if there a box to check on the PSR500edit software.

That was due to a bug in PSREdit500 version 1.45 and 1.46. Version 1.47 corrects that issue. Download 1.47 if you haven't already, check the LCD Blink ON and LCD Blink OFF settings and re-upload. That should correct the issue.

Update. I went download it and works fine now.
