Looking to change the modulation on my SDS 100 .. Monitoring First Responders in Maryland Cecil Simulcast . When i look at my table it has no modulation set for the system ..Is there a way to change this manually ??

Time to explore ALL the menu settings in the scanner.
The modulation is P25 P2 Trunked, aside from attenuate, filter and NAC there ain't much to adjust.

When no modulation are set it has to use the band defaults.

Configure the display to show Digital Error Count. Display Options/Customize. When receiving a signal it should be something like less than 10. If it suddenly goes up it means that you are interfered by another transmitter and you could try IFX on that particular frequency or change the filter type for that site to try and get a steady signal. If it is a conventional system and not trunked the filter settings are under the department settings and will affect that whole department.
