How to download to Whistler WS1065 from RR data base?

I have a new Whistler WS1065 and joined Radio Reference to use the software via PC interface. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with all the acronyms used in the manuals I have. Can anyone help with a step by step instruction to accomplish this method of programming ? I have installed the PC/IF cable and the ARC500 software but don't have clue where to go from there. Help!

For the scanner itself, try the Easier to Read Manual
Easier to Read Pro-651/652/106/197 - WS1040/1065 - PSR 500/600 Digital Scanner Manual
Your WS1065 programs the same way as the PSR-500, PSR-600, Pro-106, Pro-197, Pro-651, Pro-652, and the WS1040.
