Because I don't drive, that's why. I don't know my way around here. Or I'd take the bus all over. I have my psr 500 programmed. It's been programmed for some time now.

You don't need to drive to take the ferry and there are free bus route maps or someone can meet you at the ferry and drive. You've been here for several years and you haven't figured that out yet?

Put each trunked system in a new bank. Program the control channel as Motorola, and then add the IDs to the ID bank. I can't give you exact steps since I've never used a Pro-162. Read the manual for instructions, and see the RadioReference Glossary for help.

ok i do understand that so you mean like all the 800 numbers in there own bank or all just the 800"s in one bank, and in my ? i ask about the book of freg saying next to each police/fire etc it says tg and a number like tg 46944,i know tg means tag but i dont understand the numbers,my book that i got with the scanner says this is used in desamals so would it be 465.4400 ?. thank you so much for your help and sence iam new here i sure would like to make friends here

TG means talkgroup--not tag.

Using the King County system as an example, program 851.8125 in channel 100 and set as MOT. Then for ID bank 1, key in 36944 for the ID and "Auburn PD Pri" for the text tag. 36944 is a Talkgroup, abbeviated TG, sometimes as TGID. You might want to read this to brush up on the concepts of Motorola Type II trunking.
