Was the call in Howell or in a county dispatched area? Because I’m pretty sure County has always had the ability to tone Howell Fire out for dual dispatch areas and box alarms in county dispatched areas.

Castor is correct. County has had the capability for years since they page out on the same frequency. County probably received a 911 call that day and paged it direct.

Similar to Howell always being paged on 154.300, Deal is in same boat, which is why County will sometimes dispatch them directly. Also, add Monroe (Mercer Co.) to the mix, as their FD uses 154.430 for dispatch.
