HP 2 Manual and Updating

Is there a new manual, for the HP 2. Or is the HP 1 manual used for the HP 2?

I have both the HP 2 and the HP 1

And when updating the database, can the HP 2 use the same sentinel as the HP 1?
My HP1 sentinel is version 2.02 revision 04. Database version 7-14-13

My HP 2 says-- Main Firmware Version 1.05
Sub Firmware 1.02

I guess my question is what do I do, too update the database on my HP 2?

I think there is - but I never looked at it / not that different

Yes

Looks like you need to update it on the HP1 as that is a year and a half old. Have you ever updated it? Should do it at least once a month.

Then update - update db then Control w (write to HP)

When you connect Sentinel to your HP-2 and click Update Firmware it will tell you whether or not your firmware is current.

If your database is 5 months old you are probably missing out on something. I update mine every week as we have almost daily changes to our state systems.

The Uniden manuals suck, I use the Easier To Read Manual.
