hum fix successfully applied

Thx to tumegpc and others I had an irritating slight hum from speaker and rear audio Jack (not front headphone Jack) and after adding the grounding wire and scraping coating from lcd screen pcb so screw makes contact to chassis NO MORE HUM.

Love you guys and sharing useful tips like this.

Glad you were able to take care of the hum.

How old/new is your SDS200? Supposedly that was remedied in production a while back. What is the digit immediately following the "Z" in the serial number on the serial number tag on the back of the SDS200? That will indicate the date of manufacture.

That looks like it's the year 2020...
Mine is that year too... Also developed the hum...

I did the @StaticDischarge fix... No jumper wire needed...

yeah since I was going to open the case I decided to apply both: the grounding wire and making sure the screw grounds the lcd pcb. Worked perfectly.

Mine shows Z100…so would this be a manufactured date in 2021?
