Has anyone heard any of the huricane hunter aircraft and what frequencies they are using, I have not come across any communications while searching the bands. any info.

As Rob said, they use satellite comms for the most part. You might catch them on the Caribbean HF frequencies giving position reports. Car A 2.887, 5.550, 6.577, 8.918, 11.396, 13.297, 17.907 Car B 3.455, 5.520, 6.586, 8.846. 11.330

Thanks, Kieran I'll try the frequencies you sent along, also thanks Rob for your information, Just making up lists for the tk75 software program to be able to transfer frequencies to the 100 memory slots on the IC-R75 and thought I would see if I could come up with some more frequencies that had to do with the huricanes.

You want freqs, you got 'em. Just go to the Hurricane Rita wiki and click on the link Hugh Stegman's list (found in the SHARES section). In addition, Bill Snyder's list can be found on the Utility Listening wiki.
